Training Log

Tough, grinding practice... but good.
Warmup and drilling were good. Breast stroke drills feel good after sculling in warmup.
3 x 400 pull: Swam them fairly steady. Each one was at around 5:15. I was surprised I could keep pulls at under 1:20 pace.
3 x 400 swims descending. Times: 5:22, 5:12, 4:57.
I felt strong throughout, especially on the last, which I pushed hard. Pool was turbulent, as four of us were in one lane. I guess I got some draft, but I felt very good that I could swim the fastest of the set at under 1:15/100 pace.
Looking forward to rest day tomorrow.
I think I would be toast if I tried to swim hard another day after the last two hard days.
