Mixed practice. First part good, last part not so good.
800 warmup, 400 kicking
12 x 50 freestyle drilling. 8 with fists, 4 with open fingers.
6 x 50: FAST sprinting on 2:30 sendoff.
3 x 400 freestyle, steady.
Warmup, drilling and sprinting went well; I felt pretty good.
Then things went downhill on the 400's. I was stiff at first from the hard sprinting, but I had no strength either. Usually I can do these easily in 5:20 or better, but today my fastest was 5:40. Hangover from the 5k, you think?
