Hard, gnarly long course practice.
Main Set: 20 x 100 meters freestyle (on 1:40 sendoff)
     Swim average: 1:23
Failed final sprint 100 due to cramping.
Nice long warm down.
Rest day will be good, as I am wiped out now.

FYI: The 1:09 flat Tim and I made on the final 100 converts to 59.55 in short course yards. Thanks again for lunch!

Remember, this was Tom's first long course practice of the year. Tom's exact average time from the stopwatch for 20 x 100 lcm (on 1:40): 1:23.55. Encouraging. Scott (see comment above), Tom, and I plan to swim the short events (50 fly, 50 bk, 50 br, 50 fs, & 100IM) at the Tualatin Hills Pentathlon Meet next Saturday--it's designed to be a speedwork day (specially for distance guys like me!) and a little re-introduction to racing.
