A sadistic Practice... Happy Valentines?
Does this mean that one who subjects himself voluntarily is a masochist?
-Warmup, kicking, drilling went fine. I'm feeling yesterday's hard practice... and probably the accumulation of hard work.
-75's on 4 minutes sendoff. :47, :48, :47, :46, :46, :46, :47, :47.
Worked them very hard and they were very tough. The first two, I could really feel the effects of yesterday, then I loosened up some. I'm pleased that I could stay consistent through the whole set. Arms tied up some on the third lap of each swim, of course, but lactic acid buildup did not seem to be too much of a factor.
-8 x 100's. Alternated IM & free until I started cramping, then did the last 3 pulling. I could swim them with some quality, but not with my usual energy.
-8 x 25 Sprints. Worked them hard. Felt okay, but compromised somewhat by the hard swimming early in the practice.
-Long easy warm down.
Feeling pretty fried this afternoon.
