Grueling practice
Warmup, kicking and drilling went fine.
Main Set: I tried to work it as hard as I could, but there was an undercurrent of fatigue. My times were okay, but I had to work harder than I thought necessary to achieve them. I was strong and pretty fast overall, but just felt like I was not quite "on".
200's: 2:30, 2:31, 2:30, 2:30, 2:31, 2:31, 2:32, 2:32. Pretty consistent, but took increasing effort.
50's: All 16 of them were right on :35 or slightly below. I worked them hard and they felt okay.
It was the 200's that really drained me. I feel pretty whipped this afternoon.
Tomorrow will be interesting.
