Training Log

Writing this Friday morning. I feel lethargic; is it a result of hard swimming three out of the last four days? Looking forward to two days of rest this weekend. I'll probably eschew water polo on Sunday.
Thursday, December 15 practice.
Warmup and kicking went okay. I cannot kick 400 straight, though. I borrowed fins; that works my legs better. I did 4 x 100 and tried to go each one faster than the previous.
Butterfly sprints felt pretty good. I did them two arm, which I try to avoid, as it makes my shoulders sore later. My shoulders feel okay today, however.
I avoid IM practice whenever possible, but I did this one dutifully as per instructions. Times in the descending sets were pretty consistent, dropping 2:35, 2:25, 2:15 within each.
This practice did not feel sharp. I worked, felt strong enough, but it was a slog for me.
