Warmup and drilling went fine.
Main set: 2,000 yard pull (descend back half).
First 1k: 14:25 (about 1:26 per 100 yards). Back half: 13:20 (right on 1:20 per hundred).
I worked hard on the back half to maintain that pace. I thought I would slow down, but was able to maintain the pace throughout. That told me something about my endurance.
I think I worked it a bit harder than coach Bob had intended.
