I was surprised how fast I swam. I guess the ten day "layoff" did not affect my fitness; possibly it's better.
Warmup, kicking and drilling went fine. Only hitch is that this soreness I feel in the left side of my chest hurts a little when I scull or swim backstroke.
Main set: First set: 3:45, 2:25, 1:07. Second set: 3:47, 2:27, 1:09. Third set: 3:50, 2:25, 1:06.
I guess I worked the 300's harder than "moderate", but I was surprised that I could so easily keep them way under 4:00.
