Swim Practice

Strength training session prior to swimming.
800 yard warmup.
Drill: 6 x 25 sculling
Main Set: 4 sets of 4 x 100 freestyle on 1:30 sendoff, 30 seconds between sets.
Warmdown
Comment:
800 warmup went fine; mixed it up.
The l00's went surprisingly well, which is good news. I was pretty stiff for the first few, which is not surprising given the strength training just prior. This is uncharted territory for me, so I had some anxiety that I might bonk during the practice. I'm glad to say that I felt strong throughout.
We did them on 1:30 sendoff and all were right at 1:15, except for the last set which was a second or two better than that; the last one at 1:10. I am pleased.
