4/5 Practice

4/5/2013

Warmup: 800-1000 choice
Drill: 6 x 25 scull
Swim: 10 x 150 freestyle, smooth & steady (:10 rest)
Sprint: 6 x 25 fly with fins (:30 rest)
Warmdown: 10 minutes

Practice Notes:
Dry land strength practice, then...
A workmanlike practice, though easier than usual due to lowered volume.
Warmup and drill went fine.
Ground through the 150's. Did first five on 2:10 sendoff, the rest on 2:15. At the prescribed pace, all were a few seconds over 2:00. Except for the last, which was 1:50. Felt okay overall, just not that fast nor very strong.
Butterfly sprints felt very good; fast and strong.
Usual warmdown.
