4/1 Practice

4/1/2013

Dry land strength training then...
Warmup: 800-1000 choice
Kick: 300 dolphin, on back with fins
Sprint: 6 x 25 freestyle, FAST (:30 rest)
Swim: 3 x
     300 fs, moderate, strong turns
     3 x 100 IM, descending
(:20 rest in round; 1:00 rest between rounds)
Warmdown

Practice Notes:
All went well. Worked dry land hard. Swim times not particularly fast, but not too bad either.
Warmup went fine. Takes a while to get going after strength training.
Dolphin on the back was a bitch, as usual.

Sprints a little rough; tough, too.
300's were 4:00, 3:50, 3:50.
IM's descended consistently in each round 1:38, 1:33, 1:25
Nice to have the volume drop a little overall.
